Terms of Use

1. Purpose
These Terms of Use (hereinafter "ToU") govern the access and use of the Sabab platform, accessible via the website sabab.ma, app.sabab.ma, and the Android and iOS mobile applications (hereinafter "the Platform").
By accessing the Platform or creating an account, you unreservedly accept these ToU.
2. Definitions
- Platform: all services offered by Sabab via the website and mobile applications.
- User: any natural person accessing the Platform.
- Client: a User who publishes a service request.
- Professional (Pro): a User registered as a service provider whose identity has been verified by Sabab.
- Mission: the service contract concluded directly between a Client and a Professional following the acceptance of a proposal on the Platform.
3. Registration and account
3.1 Account creation
Registration is open to any adult natural person (18 years and older) residing in Morocco. Creating an account requires a valid Moroccan phone number and verification by OTP code.
3.2 Accuracy of information
The User agrees to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. Any false or misleading information may result in the suspension or deletion of the account.
3.3 Account security
The User is responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and any activity carried out from their account.
4. Registration as a Professional
4.1 Identity verification
To operate as a Professional on the Platform, the User must submit a copy of their National Identity Card (front and back) and a selfie with the card for verification. Sabab reserves the right to accept or reject any registration.
4.2 Obligations of the Professional
The Professional agrees to:
- Provide quality services consistent with the given description.
- Respect the prices announced in their proposals.
- Behave professionally and respectfully towards Clients.
- Possess the skills, qualifications, and authorizations necessary to carry out their activity.
5. Platform operation
5.1 Publishing requests
The Client can publish a service request by selecting a category, describing their need, and sharing their location. Requests are forwarded to nearby Professionals.
5.2 Proposals
Professionals can respond to requests by sending proposals including a price. The Client is free to choose the proposal that suits them.
5.3 Missions
When a Client accepts a proposal, a Mission is created. The service contract is concluded directly between the Client and the Professional. Sabab is in no way a party to this contract and acts solely as a technical intermediary.
6. Role of Sabab
Sabab is a technical intermediary connecting Clients and Professionals. As such:
- Sabab does not provide any direct services.
- Sabab does not guarantee the quality, punctuality, or compliance of the services provided by Professionals.
- Sabab is not responsible for damages resulting from the execution or non-execution of Missions.
- Sabab facilitates connection but does not intervene in negotiations between Users.
7. Payments
Payments between Clients and Professionals are made directly between them, according to the terms agreed upon during the Mission. Sabab may offer secure online payment services via certified providers (Stripe), if applicable. The specific payment conditions are detailed when using these services.
8. Reviews and ratings
After each Mission, the Client can leave a review and a rating for the Professional. Reviews must:
- Be honest, factual, and based on a real experience.
- Contain no abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, or illicit content.
Sabab reserves the right to delete any review that does not meet these conditions.
9. User behavior
Any User agrees to:
- Use the Platform fairly and in accordance with its purpose.
- Not publish illicit, misleading, offensive content or content that infringes the rights of third parties.
- Not attempt to bypass the Platform's security mechanisms.
- Not use the Platform for spamming, fraud, or harassment.
- Respect other Users.
10. Suspension and termination
Sabab reserves the right to suspend or delete an account, without notice or compensation, in case of:
- Violation of these ToU.
- Provision of false or fraudulent information.
- Inappropriate, abusive, or illicit behavior.
- Repeated non-compliance with commitments to other Users.
The User can delete their account at any time by contacting support.
11. Intellectual property
All content on the Platform (texts, images, logos, source code, design) is protected by intellectual property law. Any unauthorized reproduction or exploitation is prohibited.
12. Limitation of liability
Sabab cannot be held liable for:
- Temporary interruptions or dysfunctions of the Platform.
- Loss of data resulting from circumstances beyond its control.
- Acts or omissions of Users, Clients or Professionals.
- Indirect damages (loss of profit, moral prejudice) related to the use of the Platform.
13. Data protection
Users' personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Modification of the ToU
Sabab reserves the right to modify these ToU at any time. Users will be informed of substantial modifications via a notification in the application. Continued use of the Platform after modification constitutes acceptance of the new ToU.
15. Applicable law and disputes
These ToU are governed by Moroccan law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will endeavor to find an amicable solution. Failing this, the competent courts of Casablanca will have sole jurisdiction over the dispute.
